Removing white polish residue from black plastic trim

Any suggestions? Just picked up my new car from the dealer and noticed that their "valet" has left white polish residue all along the black plastic sill trim. Can't go back to the dealer as I'm currently about 600 miles away! Thanks, CMD

Thanks, I'll give the rubber trick a go then apply some vinyl cleaner. CMD
