Advice needed - cleaning and sealing matte black alloys
Discussion
Hi PH'ers,
I have a set of gorgeous, unmarked Team Dynamic 1.2s on my motor and I would like to keep them like that. However, they are matte black. Does this make any difference in terms of cleaning and sealing them?
The reason I ask is on other wheels I used a range of polishes to clean stubborn brake dust marks etc. I don't think this is a good idea on matte paint, am I right? Is it also okay to use clay bars?
Finally, is there any difference between wheel sealant and normal wax? In the past I've used my venerable tub of Natty's Paste Wax to seal my alloys, with good results.
Thanks in advance.
