Hi,

got myself some poorboys black hole and very pleased with the results.

currently i have been using turtle wax extra gloss sealer wax for a final coat. what would give a better result, i also want a degree of longevity in the protection. and would prefer not to spend loads.

thanks very much.

thanks for the replies.

the paint is pretty good anyway, so the black hole's work is not really cut out filling as such.

i wanted a sealant that provides protection and a decent shine.

Most (if not all) waxes contain sealants in one form or another.

Its normally sealant then Black Hole, sealants need to bond to clean paint.

Nanolex, Wolfs, Gtechniq etc (I prefer nanolex) for true sealants, for less fiddly try Optimum (for a wipe on walk away product) Auto Finesse with a few others.

I use Duragloss via DA topped with a wax, get around 5-6 months on a daily.

Research is the way forward.
iirc it said on the bottle to use a sealant after polishing.
