Spilt milk

The kids spilt milk in our car last week, smell is rank, have taken the matt out and washed but hasnt quite sorted it, plus under the matt is pretty pungent too.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Is there anything from Halfords or alike or any specialists that deal with his sort of thing?

Interesting...Just normal chip shop vinegar or white wine vinegar????
