Removing scuffs from glass
Discussion
Hey all
Purchased a new (to me) car yesterday, obligatory picture:
Absolutely chuffed with the car, only a few little things I'd like to sort out, there's a scuff on the screen where it would seem someone activated the wipers with no blade, the glass isn't deeply scratched but it's left a 5-10mm swept scuff
Would like to remove it, but not sure if regular "glass polish" would be up to the task, would I need something more specialised? I have a drill mounted kit that I've used to remove small scratches from paintwork with great success, I was intending to use the same kit with glass polish to have a go at this one
Any thoughts?

Thanks for the replies guys
I've driven the car again since and the scuff is really much less serious than I first described, more like 3-5mm at its widest, and not even felt under a finger nail
Hopefully toothpaste will do it, that would be awesome, if not I'll look into something a bit more serious
