Flash Car Wash system - similar shampoo?
Discussion
Apologies if this comes up regularly. I sense it might but can't find anything having trawled back quite a few pages.
I've got one of the old Flash Car Wash systems that I use quite regularly. Bought up a job lot of filters and shampoo when they stopped making them. Still got quite a few filters but have either lost or used all the shampoo!
Has anyone been in a similar position and can recommend a suitable replacement shampoo that's not so thick to gunk up the chamber!

I was hacked off when they stopped making it. I think it's a brilliant system. Not having to dry a car massively cuts the risk of swirls.
I use Triple Wax Liquid Gold in place of the original shampoo. It works well as the shampoo is designed to be self drying without any water marks, much in the same way as the original.

I remember my Dad buying that system in the late 90's, it's basically just de-ionised water though so really just as simple to use a watering can with deionised water in it to rinse the car off with at the end of washing, I know a few valeters that use properly filtered water in their tanks and it saves them loads on water when it comes to rinsing cars off and leaves no water spots either.
