car cover ruined paint

hi guys, need help bought new car cover for out door use, took off and milky white stain on parts of roof, looks like under clear coat ! please don't tell me i need respray ?? am gutted original paint on 98 7 series was in great nick !

tried washing, and polishing, and t/cutting, read blog about alcohol drying out vapour under clear coat tried that, and been out in sun all week !!! still there !

have no garage ! polished and cleaned car for two days ready for show at weekend ! thought cover would save paint ! holy st !!!

thanks guys, anybody recommend spray shop in or around bristol ? only know dent magic ! any guess to how much rub down and respray clear coat on roof only ??
