How to tell a good respray from bad? (fiberglass)
Discussion
Im very seriously considering buying a fiberglass 80s Lotus, and have viewed one that i am very interested in.
Its at a Lotus specialist, but has just had a full respray.
Im not usually fussy with cosmetics, as long as it looks similar to the shape that left the factory. (cleaned the interior of my current car twice in nearly a year)
But what would really annoy me is if the paint or lacquer started peeling or any other paint defections. Especially ones that get worse if left un corrected.
So what are the tell tale signs as to how well the car has been sprayed?
The car is white if it makes any difference.
Thank you
