meguiars DA power system - advice and reccommends?

Hi, i am a keen washer and polisher but am looking to have a go at diy detailing and this system with the three stages seems ideal.

Has anyone got this or used this

The car is a 2005 SLK merc and I want to tackle the light swirling but am terrified of paint damage with enthusiastic use of traditional polishers or mops

I was going to practice on a salvage panel first too.

Thanks for the info, yes i've seen some youT vids and it looks fine.

I only have minor corrections to get out, and i'd also heard the MBenz paint was pretty tough.

Beinteresting to see what it does, seems like the US amazon site has alot of reviews of this, most positive(well over 90%)

So when I saw Meguiars had come out with this system I thought I had to give it a go because they surely must have made it virtually idiot proof. And so it is. The red pads and compound are very gentle and you really would have to do something drastic to mess your paint up. The yellow pads and polish are gentler still.

As well as swirls I had a big scuff in the clearcoat that I had to sand out. I was able to polish the sanding marks out successfully to match the rest of the paint. So the red pad and compound can be made to work harder if necessary.

I did not use the drill attachment system just the pads and compounds so can't talk about how that handles specifically.
