Polishibg Stainless Steel
Discussion
Morning guys
I have some old stainless steel oversill which need to go back on my old Maserati project. There are several scratches on the in addition to them being generally dull.
What's the best way to bring these back to mirror fresh? I have a DA polisher if that's any use!
Cheers
Paul

Firstly, apologies for the typo in the title, buttons too small on the HTC!
Secondly, Thanks for all the help guys.
I'm Newcastle / Teesside based and have tried the local metal finisher who has done other plating and they couldn't help.
They are large full-length stainless steel sill covers and are free from deep marks but are very 'tired' and are covered in scratches, they almost look 'brushed' in places. I'm going to have a bash at home, flatten back with some very fine wet&dry then have a go with this polishing kit to see whether I can get a presentable finish.

I'll post up some pictures of before, during, and after.
