Guessing this is the best section for this given it could be "detailing" related hehe

I need a new vacuum to use solely for dry vaccuming of car interiors - I already have a Vax 6131T (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vax-6131T-Multivax-Vacuum-Carpet/dp/B0041MI3W0) for wet stuff and it sucks like a good 'un but the cheap B&Q "performance power" one I use for dry is useless.

Tempted to buy another Vax so I can have one set up for dry and one set up for wet (changing it around isn't an option) but is there better (and cheaper) out there ?

Is there much in it between them? The Karcher is ever so slightly cheaper.

The Karcher MV2 which I assume is the DIY consumer version is a lot cheaper (refurbished) - any experience of those?

Cheers thumbup

Closure on this - managed to find a bit of a bargain on a Numatic George (Henry's big brother that does carpet washing etc)

It's fantastic for both uses although I think I'll use my Vax 6131 for dry and the George for wet to save swapping between both modes as originally intended.

Quality of the attachments etc blow the (admittedly much, if buying new) cheaper Vax away.
