Repairing a centre console

Wasn't sure where to post this but maybe someone can help. Someone in their wisdom decided to fit aftermarket wood to my 16v Mercedes. Not only did they glue bits on but they drilled holes as well. Is it possible to repair the holes and simulate the grain in the leather (vinyl?) ? Any recommendations as to where?
