Plastic glazing for one-off car
Discussion
Good morning at all.
I'm building my first car. So I have just read M1 Manual for IVA Basic UK test I will have to do.
About plastic glazing I need your help to understand what "E" Plasting Glazing means.
Do you know what VOSA or DVLA check about a glass or plasting glazing?
I spoke with a lot of plastic company producer about it, but sincerely I have more confusion than before.
What do you thing about this two kind of lexan sheets:
Lexan Margard HLG5
High Optical Quality, Hard Coating on 1 side, Flat applications only.
Lexan Margard FMR5XT
High Optical Quality, Flexible Hard Coating on 1 side, Suitable for curved applications.
Do you know if VOSA and DVLA accept them? I want to register my car for street legal use.
thanks so much
Roberto
