Orange peel, wetsand before clear ?
Discussion
I'm fixing a 1"x2" problem on the edge of the hardtop, I have already put some filler in, sanded it, then a few coats of primer and wet sanded it to a very smooth finish
But now that I am putting the paint coats, using rattle can colour coded to the PRD red, I can see some orange peel in the paint surface
I am doing very thinly sprayed coat, currently at 4 coats
My question is, do I wet sand it now (2000 grit ?, or maybe just some rubbing compound ?), give it a few more coats and wet sand again then give it the clear coat (then wet sand again), or do I give it a few more coats, then clear coats 3-4 times and then wet sand ?
Any advise ?
