I have spoken to some OPCs and none recommend having PPF put on. A few even tell me hour stories about paint coming off.

No installer (film/ installer) will guarantee the paint underneath to be perfect if removed after a few years (and will the guarantee be worth anything?)

why? I have been considering putting on PPF but have been talked out of it by numerous people on account of the possible damage to the underlying paint and the horrid finishing of some PPF/installers. Let's face it. film can NEVER be as good as paint.

so the dealers blame the film and the installers blame the car's paint. In the end , the owner takes the risk himself. I see.

That's about it. Get a decent recommendation for a fitter and you should be ok.
Can anyone recommend a decent installer which uses Suntek gen 2 film for full rocker and splash based near east london/essex/kent area? thanks
