how often to wax

Ok, after wash & dry etc. polished using Poorboys black hole (one application), then a coat of Collinite 845 insulator wax. Question is how often should I apply more wax. Is it normal to wax after each wash and also can I apply the poor boys black hole after washing or do I have to make sure all the wax is removed first (if so how many washes would that normally take).Thanks.

Thanks for that, I'll have a look there later. Would it still be ok to build up layers of the wax ? This isn't a car that is used daily and doesn't get dirty too often so just wondered if building coats of wax to get deep shine is ok.
