Today's Effort
Discussion
Well I decided that since I had an entire day to myself I would tackle the three Mercs sitting on the drive all in need of a clean up.
The plan wash to wash the exteriors first, spray down with Valet Pro Citrus Pre-Wash followed by a wash with microfibre mitts, Dodo Juice Basics of Bling shampoo, rinsed and dried. Glass cleaned with Rain-X Glass Cleaner and tyres treated with Meguiars tyre gel. :thumb:
Interiors were vacuumed and all plastics wiped with Meguiars Interior Detailer. I found a bottle at the back of the cupboard which I forgot about, leaves a nice matt finish.
Engines were then cleaned up and plastics dressed with Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel.
First up was the CLS63
Then onto the SL350
And lastly the E320 CDI, still looking surprisingly fresh as it approaches 106k!
This car is fairly ordinary from the outside, ideal for parking up in most places and not worrying as well as standard dad duties. But this engine is far from average (in my opinion haha). Only makes about 210bhp but 370lbs-ft of torque and still gets 50mpg+
Started just before 8am and had everything done and gear tidied away by 4pm. A well earned beer or three this evening. :thumb:

That parking area looks a proper mess, as for the big sticker in the house window...it looks real bad
Tidy your place up
Let's get this straight, you have gone through the detailing section of a CAR forum to then be ill mannered and obnoxious regarding the look of my property??? It's posts like this which give PH the reputation it has amongst petrol heads, 99% of people on here are sound and then there's ones like this which sour it. Tidy your place up
For your information the CCTV sticker is meant or be in plain sight. Secondly the parking area is perfectly neat I suspect you're referencing where the E Class is parked which is a shared driveway between the properties to garages at the rear.
Perhaps if you're more interested in judging people's houses you'd be better off on a forum that's not related to cars as that was the point of this post.

I only noticed the acres of lovely silver Mercs ?
Alex, if you ever think of selling the CLS, drop me a PM ?
Haha that's what I see when I come out of my front door anyway! Alex, if you ever think of selling the CLS, drop me a PM ?
I certainly will chap, are you on the prowl for a CLS in general?
[quote=Löyly]What's going on with those Halfords metal floor mats though?
Don't worry though the CLS has it's OEM mats in mint condition.
