Detailing World??
Discussion
Given that DW is not working, or even accepting new registrations, I wonder if I could pose the questions here for advice, as I need to replenish my cleaning products:
I been using Meguiars polish for a few years, but I've found it hard to remove once applied (all by hand). Even doing a panel at a time it takes a lot of effort to buff off. Are there any other well respected products that would take less effort?
For the first time a few months back, I put some Meguiars wax on top of the polish, and this just left what I guess is called holograms - almost a 3d effect. Normally I don't bother with wax. What did I do wrong (aside from not giving it to a pro)?.
After washing, and drying with a good quality very absorbent fluffy towel, as soon as the towel get a little damp, it seems to leave smears - difficult to describe, but very obvious to see. Is the a result of living in a medium hard water area? Even trying to then polish off with detailing spray doesn't work.
Any guidance appreciated.
