Hello all, first time in here, lovely and clean isn't it smile

Question: I have two dogs who love to sit in the back of the car(s) with the windows down as we drive along. They are both perfectly happy doing this, ears flapping in the breeze etc. However, their slobber/drool (one is a Basset - drool machine) seems to mark the paint on the doors! If it's a sunny day, the drool actually eats into the paint and I have to get brutal with 'T' cut to get most of it out, it always seems to leave a mark though.

How do I stop this?

No, I don't want to keep the windows closed, they like the wind in the ears thing and at the moment, I just keep a damp leather in the car and wipe the tops of the doors and along the rear wings as soon as we stop. Obviously I look like a complete idiot...

This happens on my MX5 (yes, they go in that as well) and my Bentley both with (unfortunately) modern paint. It probably happens on the KIA as well, I just don't care about that and as I haven't washed it in a year, I have not noticed!

Many thanks.
