Alloy wheel paint spraying advise

Hi I am going to attempt refurbishing my white 18 inch alloy wheels.I will be doing them one at a time off the car there is no major damage just a few scratches and kerbing (small sections around the wheel), I have done a bit of research on procedure and preparation However I am not to sure when it comes to the priming and painting as to how much of the area I should do ….The reason being that it’s only small areas and the rest of the alloy is fine or do I do the full wheel ie prime and paint all of it …Any advise would be appreciated thanks

Hi, i am going to have a go and do the prep work,more of a small project to give me something to do.
I purchased a good as new alloy wheel from ebay(that does not need any work on it ) so my intentions are to fit a new TPMS and tyre on it and then one by one do each wheel in my own time so i can still use the car..The wheels are white Turbo fan 18 inch and i have found the colour code and a company that sells the primer /base and laquer for £24 delivered ...
