I've recently moved over to Sydney from Perth and while the general standard of roads in Perth was generally pretty good the roads here are like you'd expect from a third world country.
Why is this, is it because it rains more here, more traffic, bigger network and less money to go round and then to top it off you have to pay a toll to use them if you want to get somewhere in a decent amount of time?
Anyone else from Perth whose driven over here noticed the same?
