Is it ok to let a Bug Bomb off inside a car without damaging the electrics etc?

Cockroaches. Driving to work this morning and in the space of 10 minutes 3 appeared internally on the windows and dash.

Think because my car has been sat on the drive the little buggers have laid a nest somewhere and am now thinking more are about to appear so want to deep clean it all with a suitable horrible gas kill.

Overkill? Awesome I want to Overkill the whole lot.

Any other suggestions - they are welcome!

Got a garage? Put the car in there, and bug bomb the garage?

All I was thinking was one bomb should do a 4x2 .. to set one off in the car would coat everything in that dust. The ones I used had a nozzle, so you may be able to fire one off and aim it in the engine bay.

That dust is pretty horrid stuff though, would you want to put the kids in the car after?

Maybe just Mortien the air vents, or find the intake and spray there with the blowers on.
Garage bombs a good idea.

Hahaha I wanted to Agent Orange my car to be sure. No kids in my car...they only go in the boot...

Yeah I think Mortein will be simpler option.

I'm bemused you have cockroaches - I used to run a waste collection service and the little blighters were reasonably rare in the trucks. However, when we did find them, the cab was always Mortiened rather than bug-bombed. Clear out the cab of all things not attached to the truck and generally an entire can in and around the cab, esp the vents. Then cab forward and spray underneath.

Never saw them in the compactors as these were powerwashed every day. Which is another option...
Pretty common where we are apparently - I've been told its ze German Cockroach.

I'm going to Mortein the car and see what drops out.
