I'm seriously considering going to look/buy something (that I'll keep to myself for now wink) - has anyone bought or looked round a WD car before?

I've watched dozens of their progs - some seem to be a cosmetic spruce up, others a more careful repair/restoration.

Would be interested to hear thoughts before I make a 400 mile round trip to 'ave a butchers'!

I've seen a WD car advertised on classic and car website, came on a couple of days ago. Without giving too much away for you is it the silver French car you're interested in? If I had the money I'd certainly be interested!
You've got it, Poirot!

Looks nice, although I think I prefer the 1987 one on car and classics for half the price...
I want/need a pre 1980 car to qualify for various events. In fact I'd be buying it specifically for the Monte...

I'd rather have a Fulvia for that kind of money.
Good, that means less competition wink

Seriously though, Fulvias are terrific cars but couldn't be any different from the A310.

Fulvia - front engined, front wheel drive revvy 4 pot
Alpine - rear engined, rear wheel drive V6
