I think it is some kind of Jensen (or possibly Aston Martin) test mule. Never seen anything like it before though.
Got to be British.
I'm looking at it on a blackberry screen but the tyre tread pattern look like Michelin XWS - very expensive and only used on pricey motahs.
love the fact that on pistonheads someone can identify the tyre tread!Got to be British.

Not without the vehicle make unfortunately (unless someone here works for the DVLA).
I hate to say it, but the photo looks a bit Photoshopped to me. Detail, colour and reflections around the side windows don't look quite plausible.

Joking apart, could this have been an ISO trial-motor, maybe, Italian-made from biscuit-boxes but with Ford V8. Has bit of late 70s Lancia look to some of the parts. Wide windscreen and that drivers door doesnt look like gen photo tho. A car of this type doesnt just mysteriously appear without even the owner who paid the money for it knowing a thing about it, so who knows what??? Spill the beans.
trying to find out - its my bird's parents neighbours car i saw briefly at the weekend! the neighbour obviously knows i didnt get to speak to him though. hopefully ringing her dad tonight!Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
