Following my suggestion and a couple of positive posts (and to save cluttering the spotted thread) here we go, there might be some crossover but here you can spot your own. So to get the ball rolling ..........

My AC 3000 at work with a tall Polo and a vast Focus

And on Le Shuttle in my brothers example - the dash top level with the bumper on a Fezza 360

Fine. But I still have my opinion too.

As for pictures, well here's a good one showing how much smaller modern cars have gotten:

Good picture of the classic Lotus showing how the newer models are so much bigger

The older TVR making the newer one look massive!

The newer 101 totally outsizing the older S11b....

A 420 being dwarfed by the newer bigger XJ

The obvious size increase from 3rd to 4th generation Firebirds

Yep it's true all cars are definitely getting bigger.
If you put a Smart next to a Berkley it would look massive, I'm sure new Esprit will look huge next to the older versions. Why not find a picture of the Tamora next to 70's S or a Vixen etc .......

300bhp/ton - you are right, everything you have said is right, we all beleive you and are convinced by your argument ...... and yes, I deliberately drove my car around my car park at work until I found 2 huge cars in different market sectors to make a point on PH, either that or I (like lots of us) picked the biggest spot available and took one last glance at my car, sniggered to myself and captured it on my phone.

Now someone please post a pic while he constructs a powerpoint!

That all nice and all, but all that proves is you parked in a big space next to different types of cars.

Park an AC3000ME next to say any of these; S1 Elise, smart Roadster, GTM Libra, Marlin EX5i, GTM Evolution, hell even a Daihatsu Copen and the size difference will be much less.
Sadly I'm the only one here with any imagination so the ME is the only interesting thing in the car park - it does prove I have a sense of humour though, along with all the others who posted here with old stuff next to big modern stuff, which was the point from the outset - note the thread title, it's not "Classics dwarfed by moderns from the same market sector".

I was giving the Scooby it's weekly bribe of V-Power when this loomed up, the black bar along the bottom of the image is the drivers door drop glass seal!

Looking out our window Mrs Hooli's '08 Fiesta is huge & tall compared to my tatty old '93 XJ40. It's crazy how pointlessly tall modern cars are isn't it?
Every night I have to turn left at a Tee, if a supermini pulls up to turn right I'm blinded and have to wait for them to go - not something you expect in a '98 Impreza!

Foisted onto ASDA in Sheffield by the city council. If they wanted the planning permission to extend the car park then they had to appease the hand-wringers.

There was quite a thread about it on PH at the time that the picture was taken. I visited specially to stick it to the man... hehe
I'd sit in the pick up point bay (usually outside the main entrance) with the engine running ...... maybe throwing in the odd blip hehe

Breadvan has probably affected his tolerance by owning a couple of breadvans - after that anything of the period in standard form (Elans aside) feels a bit ponderous!

The Clubman is no longer a bluff fronted Mini, the Countryman no longer an estate version so why should any modern Mini be small rolleyes Thank God Issigonis never saw his concept diluted into a marketing tool!

Here's a couple of My old Mini Jem next to my old Alfa 156...

I've always preferred the Jem to the Marcos, they have a feel of a mini DB4GT Zagato - especially when you can see the very DB grille shape.

Yet again ....... this thread is not one for dissecting the stats, figures and boring rubbish that goes with modern boring cars. It's about pictures of classics looking small next to a modern (regardless of market position) and the odd huge classic still looking huge next to anything and everything (mainly Galaxies)

The roofline of the F40 is as low as the bottom of the windshield on the little Fiat thing behind it.
In a similar vein this is from inside my brother's AC 3000 ME on the Eurotunnel coming home from Le Mans Classic 2014, the Ferrari bumper is at dash height on the AC.
