Talbot Tagora SX
Discussion
My previous projects proved mildly difficult to find, (Hunter GLS five years, Audi 200 5T four years) so I'm looking for something a little more challenging for my next one.
Doomed from the start, ugly but also underrated and quite capable.
And the sound of the triple carbed V6
The hunt begins for a RHD Talbot Tagora SX.....

There was this one on Ebay last month:

Could see if the buyer really wants it?
eta Oops, it was a year ago. Probably scrapped by now
I sent a mechanic to inspect this last year and it was in far worse condition than I had hoped. It needed a new roof which was a deal breaker for me as I had just done this on another car and did not fancy doing (or paying for!) it again.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1983-TALBOT-TAGORA-2-6-V...

Thankfully, someone with far more mechanical talent than me bought it and it is being restored.

Ten Tagoras for sale on this French website, with 3 SX's. Not sure if it's the 2.6 a they don't quote engine size.

It has to be RHD for me I'm afraid. Anyway, that would be too easy!http://www.ooyyo.net/used-talbot-tagora-for-sale/f...
Any good?
I have someone looking into the Maltese connection, hopefully something will turn up.
