Hydragas Units
Discussion
Can someone tell me the interchangability of hydragas units?
I need to repair my Allegro 1.5HL and want to know if units from MGF or Rover 100 would fit the Allegro. Lots of good articles on the web about how it works and how to repair but no mention if the units fit different models. One site says that the Maxi units are bigger but thats all I can find.
Help from the PH massive appreciated.

Nah. Hydragas - and bigger than Allegro ones...
Have sent for Allegro Club International membership but may have to carry out the repairs as suggested on this link.

I use regulators for Nitrogen purging at work which are 0-175 bar so no problem there.
My problem is that if I take the old unit off and find that the rubber diaphragm in the N2 "egg" leaks then the unit can't be re-charged. Hence trying to get some units offline to play with.
I've sent off to the ACI so will contact them for further advice. Thanks for clearing up the incompatability issue. There are a few good articles out there on servicing the systems but no definitive info on model(suspension) types that I could find.
