Hi guys, first off thanks for adding me,

I run a 2.9 granda engine in a buggy, it was running fine about 6 months back, but after an accident it has stood, now i have got round to repairing and straighening out the front end i tried to start it, it ran up great first time, but when i went back the following day to move it wouldn't start, so i done a few checks make sure i hadn't dislogged anything and all seemed fine, checked fuel ect and when i pulled the plugs they were like they had sat in a bucket of petrol, soaking wet, so i changed the plugs for a new set checked and changed the dissy cap and rotor arm as i had them for a service anyway, tried to start it and it tries but didn't kick into life, removed the plugs and they are wet again so i presume its over fuelling, has anyone had this issue or suggest where i start checking for faults, i'm old school ok with carbs or diesels but admittedly lost when it comes to injection.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks sticks for the reply,

this engine is fitted in a sort of rangerover chassis with alsorts of mods to it, runs as a 4x4 offroader.

i've cleaned and checked a lot of the parts as they were covered in mud and then it being stood for 3 to 4 year. when i first tried it it started first turn of the key that was 2 weeks ago, now its a pain to get to start if at all it does, all 6 plugs are soaken wet which is why i believe an over fueling problem, but where to even start looking

thanks guys yes all 6 plugs are wet, not just the one, return to tank is working this has a small tank fitted in the back end, and return is via the filler cap so easy to check, my thought were with return to tank running then the reg must be open to allow it to return, i have had it start with a lot of hassle getting it to start and once it does it runs wellish, not brill, lumpy shall we say so i'd expect the ecu to be ok, going to fit another new set of plugs tommoz along with leads disy cap and rotar arm see if it makes any difference will keep posted
