Turned away from a classic car show

A story doing the rounds online of a chap who turned up to Brooklands Autumn Classic Breakfast in his rather lovely 1978 Leyland Princess to be told that he would have to park in the car park as his car was not a classic.

To me this stinks, it is certainly a classic and is a car that I would be more interested in seeing than the majority of 'real classics'.

All things being equal, I'd have let it in. Even though I think they're horrible, they're a big part of our motor industry history.

It was a 'updated' Princess marketed as a new car, it incorporated a hatchback which the Princess didn't have.
