Happened to catch this by chance yesterday. Restoration of F5000 Lola that had been parked up for years.

Bit dumbed down but worth a watch if it's available on catch-up TV.

Mods - appreciate this is about TV but didn't think it'd be of much general interest in the TV forum.

The uprights were the bit that wound me up. They spent most of the second half of the episode building up the drama of how impossible it would be to get new uprights and then found a supplier at the last minute - wow - didn't expect that!

I'd have thought £1,000 would have been quite reasonable - as long as I wasn't paying it!

Surprised they were recast in mag alloy as well. Would have thought they'd have just use ally for longevity.
