Does anyone know of a good guide/list to museums in the UK? I've been to a few just by finding out about them by accident when I was in the area, sometimes and it occurred to me I don't know how many there are or where they are.

I've been to Beaulieu of course, Brooklands, Haynes in Somerset (which is fantastic since they expanded it), the Lakeland and the Heritage museum at Gaydon so far. Any thoughts, or recommendations from anyone?

Thanks for that. My wife is especially fond of cars from 20s and 30s, so that looks a good one for the list. smile

Thanks for those suggestions; both within a couple of hours away.

Been to Haynes.Wasn't a massive fan to be honest.
Since the expansion/refurb? I spent hours in there last September. Especially liked the American hall.

Ta. Bentley Wildfowl was a nice find - went there too a few years back, quite by accident.

Yep, both of those were good. We saw the lakeland one only a month or 2 back - the Bluebird exhibition was there then (and was quite moving, I thought).
