Six years ago I fitted new tyres and inner tubes to my classic caravan. I noticed that one of the tyres is just starting to show some age related wear, as in slight side wall cracking. I intend to replace both tyres but am unsure as to whether I need to replace the inner tubes at the same time, I am thinking that they are not subjected to the same weather related problems as the tyres. The tubes are quite expensive at around £80 each so obviously do not want to replace unless it is safety related.

Wow, £80 each! Someone's having a laugh surely? Take a look at Motor Wheel Services (MWS) they have inner tubes in all diameters and for example 14" ones are £7.50

Seems very odd confused
Opps, my mistake it works out £33 each + £10 fitting each. so its about £80 for the pair. My tube size is 475 - 21.

Yes your right, £66 it has to be sensible.
The Griff went some years back now, must update my profile! Had a number of vintage cars since but the Vauxhall and Eccles caravan fit my bill, brilliant fun. No fear of getting caught speeding eitherlaugh

I hire both out, car for occasions and caravan for all possibilities!
