Balancing knock on/splined wires...
Discussion
Does anyone know if any of the Kwikfit type suppliers have the correct adapters to balance knock on wires?
I must get the wires on the N.G. balanced as whoever fitted the new tyres just before I bought it made a right hash of the job, loads of balance weights all over but still obviously well out...

Neil - lathework's a bit out of my league I'm afraid, I tend to perform my engineering tasks with an anglegrinder...
mph - yep, been trying to find someone local that has the kit but shall keep trying. A mate who runs a garage reckons he has the correct kit but it's a fair drive from here, might be worth it tho'.
What pains me, and is something of which to be wary, is that having contacted some of the local suppliers they confirm they can fit tyres and balance them but when asked if they have the necessary adapter cones they have no idea what I mean and insist they are not needed... presumably the fitter who "balanced" mine was under the same impression.
