Registering South African VW in UK

Has anyone any experience of how to register a 1969 VW Beetle 1500 into the UK? It came with a NOVA and I got the provenance from VW of build date etc. If the summer ever comes it would be nice to use it.

That seems fair - no NATIS document with car though just the NOVA import sheet.
