Rusty Aston MartinDB3 for resto - in someone's front garden!
Discussion
Was down in Essex seeing a guy about some Mustangs today and he said that down the road from his house, sitting on someone's drive, next to a 10yo Ford Mondeo would be an Aston Martin DB3 for restoration ...
Pull the other one I said.
But sure enough ... car has been sitting there for 13 years apparently and the guy won't sell. Took it in payment for a job years ago or something.
Couldn't find the thread about the wreck and rusty classics, sorry.

I think i know of the chap you speak of about the Mustangs. Does he live almost opposite a Jewish cemetery?
It's such a shame to see the Aston being left to disappear into thin air like that. Someone really needs to save it !
How would you know the guy I was seeing? There are quite a few in Essex! (And no he doesnt)It's such a shame to see the Aston being left to disappear into thin air like that. Someone really needs to save it !
Agree that someone should save it (if possible) - I think it is worse than it looks.

PM me with it's location then!
- I'm always up for that kind of challenge!!
I know the location (obviously) and so does another esteemed forum member with a similar car but the car is known in AMOC circles and an attempt has been made previously to purchase it - even by a respected AM restoration specialist - all to no avail. - I'm always up for that kind of challenge!!
For some reason (and I am sure he thinks it's a good 'un) the owner won't sell it!
