There's a thread in General Gassing like this, where as you put down what you've seen and want at the moment, so though we could have a similar thread in the Classics Forum.

This caught my eye at the weekend, and I so want to own it, it hurts.

Just a shame it's so impractical, and I don't have £23k knocking about. biggrin

Like most petrolheads, my wants change constantly, but today, this is what I really want. smile

Probably the gallons per mile. biggrin

Plus the lack of money to buy it. frown

Just emailed about this, but unsurprisingly it had an offer for the full asking price and a deposit given, unseen. frown

Yeah, that one just seems to have something about it. Has made me seriously consider making use of my good credit history! (must be sensible, must be sensible...)

Just had a look at your profile picture, I have always loved those Vixen's. Seem to be rare as hen's teeth though - especially in good condition. Lovely car.

Id.
Cheers. smile

You really should go for that Spitfire. smile

Flicking through the classifieds tonight and oh my word, they don't come up very often at all and it's made me go weak at the knees. cloud9

The thing is, I remember walking past a dumped 375L the very same colour in a rough part of Leytonstone in the late '80s, where the M11 link road was being built.

Each day as I walked past it got worse, one side window broken, then two etc, etc. frown

That was RHD too, wonder if it was taken away and saved/restored.

A small boot 11BL with Pilote wheels at that price, so much want.

Can imagine the drive home over a week or so, stopping off buying cheese & wine. cool
