the Ride for Russ is a MTB event held to raise money for the air ambulance service.

The Russ appeal website also has a page for donations to the service.

possibly the same reson the RNLI are still funded by charity rather than central funds - keep that independance.

as said earlier - if you want to donate to all the ambulaces - i believe the www.russ-appeal.org.uk has a £5 donation option in the buy a tee page - this money goes to all air ambulances (AFAIK).
