Looking over a few old (and new) threads lately made me laugh about how instantly someone can lose all credibility and become an object of ceaseless ridicule forever more on this forum
Ones that spring to mind (paraphrased):

"Been there done that: 15 blokes and my bird"
"So I thought I might buy her this lovely glass ornament" (Sorry Vixpy)
"I discovered that by cadence clutching I could attain speeds of 79 miles per hour".
"I quite fancy buying this Samurai Sword.."

Any others that spring to mind?
