What's good bait for a mouse trap?

I have mice in my garage – the little bds.

I’ve bought some mouse traps, but have yet to catch the blighters.

Now I’ve tried the usual cheese and also tried jam on bread and currently on the menu is the Orange quality street that nobody seemed to like at Christmas.

Any ideas on a good bait?
