Has anyone ever had one? Someone mentioned them on another forum I go on, and they sound intriguing....

My son took this recently... he took the adult version as he's almost 20, but the student version is aimed at Y11/12

It was outstandingly accurate. He was a bit 'lost' having not completed his A-Levels, started a couple of other paths but only half-heartedly and was stuck in a sort of rut.

It really helped him understand his inherrent skills and attributes and look at career paths that suited both his strengths AND his interests...

The test took about 3 1/2 hours, as well as a pre-test interests and personal preferences questionaire - the report was really interesting and very detailed - it gave some really good indications of his strengths - which helped a lot because he hasn't got qualifications or experience to back all that up yet.

I was pretty sceptical but I am very convinced now, being his mum I know his strength areas and can see how he could potentially use them but he needed to see it for himself.

If you want to know more drop me a mail. I might even be able to show you a copy of the report if he's ok with that, you'll be able to tell if it's the sort of thing you need.

I think this is most useful for people between school and uni because it can help with decision making and planning, help make the right choices! although it does have some use for adults, especially looking for a career change.
Thanks for that, sounds interesting smile

Thanks guys, the input's been really helpful.

Just interested out of curiosity really, I'm not a recent school leaver, just curious as to how accurate these tests actually are smile
