Route Napoleon drivable in Dec/Jan?

Morning all, as per the subject. I'll be looking to drive from Nice to Vaujany after Christmas this year for skiing. I've done it in autumn but in late Dec is the RN going to be under snow or are we likely to be all right in a Mini Cooper S (modern one!) ?

Hi all, am setting off tomorrow from Nice area and have winter tyres and snow socks. Is there a website which will tell me of any current road closures on the route?

Was fab thanks We didn't really stop for too many photos as we were in a hurry to get to the ski resort before it was too late. I'll see if there are any on my gfs camera in a bit....failing that, I'll stick upa a few from the previous time as a substitute!
