Having purchased a pied a terre just south of Le Mans I am in the process of relocating a few essentials. Hopefully in the middle of April (although not yet confirmed) I will be doing a run down with a car trailer to take down my lawn mower. The trailer is a CT177 Ifor Williams so a good size, and I will be returning to the UK via the Peage and back up to Aberdeenshire. Now to me travelling with an empty trailer is a waste so if anyone has a car they need to return to the UK for a consideration towards costs, get in touch.

As it is a 1000 mile journey each way obviously I do not want to travel more than a few miles off my route, but if you can get the car to Le Chatre then I can take it on. PM me if it is of any interest.

Hello neighbour! :-)

My place is just outside Lhomme, heading down there next week for a few days. Fancy a beer?

Back home after an "interesting" trip! Two blow outs on the trailer on the way down, carry a spare so the last 10 miles were done on three and a flat! Impossible to find 155/70-12 trailer tyres around Le Mans so came home 1000 miles on three! No problems!

Weather was fantastic, hit 32 in our little corner on Wednesday, made painting the outside of the house hot work. The Hotel de France is as good as ever, if not better. What is one of my favourite places is great to have as the local.

If we ever end up in France at the same time, we will have to organise a meet up!
