Dear All, using the Eurotunnel this coming Friday evening to drive to the Alpes. Any news as to whether the French are still to be on strike/lorry drivers burning tyres on the rail tracks et al?

Stop the worry. All this panic about nothing, how many more threads. Go and enjoy the Alps
Your reply is somewhat ineffectual and as much use as a striking Frenchman...

...which reminds me of the 4th Earl of Kimberley's family motto, 'Strike Hard' & 'Agincourt'

So, back to original, simple Q? Does anyone know of any disruption to be caused to the Euro-tunnel by French strikers this coming Friday evening?

I don't think the French strike at weekends. Why? Because they are either off or on time and a half...
Perfect answer...looks like there are no strikes only operation stack on the M20.
