Hi all,as we have FINALLY sold the UK house,we will be making the move to the Eifel in December[I know, not the best time, perhaps] But Christmas in Germany is far more civilised,so quite a nice benefit.
My query is that as my Road Tax runs out in December, what do I need to do-just renew it on line or is there something else I should do?
Thanks in advance.

Adenau,HOPEFULLY we will get a house in Quiddelbach, seems to be taking ages though. We have a temporary appartment next door to the pizzeria just outside of Breidscheid, lovely place.

Hugo, many thanks for that,I'll tax it before we leave on the 16th.

At the risk of seeming rude,I did say earlier in the year that we were moving over as soon as we'de sold the yUK house.http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/imgs/2.gif
It is mostly my fault, for which I apologise, but during the 9 or so trips we've made this year, never really found the time to come and hunt you down!
What are you doing over Christmas? LoL. I suppose its quite possible you have seen the black 350Z with a number plate that looks out of place at The Ring? Cryptic or what.?

Thats very kind and I'll look forward to finally meeting you. We are a little further up the road than the Breidscheid bridge, out of "Dodge" toward Quiddelback,at Christas place on the left, really nice apartment in the white house next door. Waited years for this move as I've always loved the area, way of life and errrr,ah yes,my job! LoL

Ah,never known his name but often wished him a good day,yes I know where he "lives".Never know or not people like him would like a little "treat",but I guess he's happy as is.
I knew that "some English guy " owned Comfy Corner,[excellent coffee btw] so now thats another of the Adenau mysteries solved.LoL. Looking forward.

We have,so I'm told, around 1250 sq feet. That could well be trimmed down a bit, hopefully. Also we hope it to be no more than three months.

OK,thanks,I had intended on taxing it anyway-wanted to know what the correct procedure was really.A couple of work mates use english reg cars but they often come beck to the yUK.Perhaps I can help with Jorgs mortgage repayments as well.lol
