'Stage 3' 9-5 Aero
Discussion
Hey,
So I really want to give the 9-5 more 'ooomph' and the best bang for buck method of doing this is a Noobtune stage 3 map.
The requirements for this would be; 3" downpipe, uprated fuel pressure regulator and a 3" exhaust system.
Does anyone have any recommendations on the exhaust front?
I don't want to be breaking the bank but I understand you can't have all three (Fast, Cheap and Reliable) so within reason what exhaust system would be good, I'm thinking custom and getting the downpipe made up whilst I'm there?
I don't need a CAT, so that'd make things cheaper but I also don't want a boomy/intrusive exhaust note - I've got the Integra for that!

Thanks for the replies.
I'll probably end up going for Albert's downpipe.
Another question, I spoke to Karl about the FPR and he too mentioned a Bosch one. Trouble is Vauxhall World Parts parts are out of stock.
Can it be any 3.5 BAR Bosch Fuel Pressure Regulator or are they specific to certain engines? It's just that I found one on Courtnay Sport for a Z20LEX and that is in stock.

also i found a quick way to make the car get more boost
remove the top vacuum tube from the boost control valve and then plug the loose tube
there is info on the net. it takes a minute and the car will immediately feel more responsive
Tried this on Saturday. Turns it into a 335D Killer! remove the top vacuum tube from the boost control valve and then plug the loose tube
