9-3 engine warning light

Picked up my sisters 9-3 after getting a few things (including exhaust) fixed and the engine management light is now on.

Any way I can fix this or will it have to go back to the garage?

Had TDC look at the car and use the Tech2 to determine what the fault was.

Couldn't find one. The error of overheating from radiator came up but temperatures were all normal. Removed the errors and all is well, so far.

The light has come back on. FML.

The code thrown up was temperature sensing issue something or other. It's a 2003 1.8t auto 5 door on 126k.
