First a red S, very smart, heading south from Monmouth on the A40 at about 2.15pm Sunday afternoon. Nice to see the roof off.

Then a very dark S on Farndon Road Newark at about 4.45. Brown? Purple? Dark Green? Again, nice to see the roof off. I live close to Newark, purple Chimaera. Have we met?

Yes the red S2 was me. You couldn't have been that close as you would have seen exactly how bad the paint job is! Perhaps I was just travelling too fast?

Weather was excellent, a sunny weekend meant lots of roofless driving. - Which was good as my hood's not that great either!
I saw you from the other carriageway, both of us doing presumably in the region of 70 mph, after my TVR radar kicked in.
Identified you as a nice bright red S, glowing in the sunshine, sorry, I can never tell the different S models apart from that distance.
I have a bit of a soft spot for the S, even though I have never owned one. One can see where the idea for the Chimaera came from.

I was in stealth mode, in my black Saab, heading home from a weekend with my wife's family. Wife's not fond of 400 mile trips in the TVR. grumpy
Here's the Saab, in track day tow vehicle mode.
