Really can't wait for both of these car's now, main Issue for me is I have a strong feeling that I'll forget all about the Evora and opt for the Exige V6, not many slot's left to sell by all account's which is fabulous for Lotus anyone else thinking about putting down an order?

I can honestly see the new Elise SC doing well, these car's will really refresh the current range as well giving us guys more to discuss

May have to buy another carconfused

By coincidence, I got a call this afternoon to say that all (80) of the early slots are now spoken for, and cars need to be specced next week to be sure of March. Anyone else heard the same?

Was also told that the Trofeo option tyres last about 1k miles, so don't think I'll be speccing those!
This is correct, on Thursday they had 18 Exige slot's left and 20 Elise.

i agree ... will be the first time in a long time you wouldn't need to look for more power.
I don't understand why 99% of the guys that post on forum's think they need more power because you don't, I've done load's of driver training and to be honest a 140bhp Elise is all you're ever going to need if you're using it for the odd track day and general road driving. My 911 is far too quick for the road and you can very easily get yourself in a lot of danger as well as trouble if you're not careful, I'm not a driving god so I guess I'm one of the fewrolleyes

I also have 3 Boys and a wife that need me around.

I was told last week, that Exige demos would be end of May with customer cars end June (we'll see...)

Elise demos first, so should be next few weeks. Production ramping up again after slow down.
Nice One, haven't heard from my contact in a while so can't give any more details myself

I've been in the Car with Martin a few times he's on another level, They just don't seem to think the same way we do about speed but I also never felt in any danger out of this world

Heard yesterday, Lotus are actually building Exiges, but are LHD, apparently Lotus want to launch in China & Australia at same time, presumably China is LHD & Australia is RHD, so I'm assuming they will complete batch of LHD, then start RHD, with 1st going to Australia, then UK ???? Does anyone know any different ????
Speak to the dealer, customer cars should start being delivered next week it's nothing to do with the guys who are building them this is a management Issue.

There is a thread on Seloc

Stunning car. What's the lead time for a car now, if hypothetically you placed an order today ?
You'd get the car next year around summer, I could find out exactly if you're interested I'm ordering in the 4th quarter of next year
