Gazing into your crystal balls, what do people expect to happen to VXT values? They currently seem to sit around £10k for an average car, given the performance on offer, are they likely to drop further?

I know the S1 appears to be the safest bet for holding its value, I haven't had anything remotely hard core before and am concerned that I would find the S1 too much like hard work. I also find the performance promised by the VXT very appealing.

What I don't really want to do however is chuck £10k at a VXT for it to be worth £6/7k in 2 years or so.

Seems like 220's bottom out around £6k, I don't see them dropping, and VXT's will always be worth a premium over VX220's.

What do others think, am I talking rubbish?

The price variation seems staggering for similar cars, with some apparently nice examples around the £9k mark and others that aren't obviously much better up closer to £12k.

Interestingly many seem to be advertised as "standard car, no mods, other than stage 1 / VXR Turbo / etc."

Also seems to be the case that silver examples are more commonly available / less desirable than other colours.

Do all GRP cars suffer from this surface blistering to a greater or lesser extent?

Cheers, I am on VX220.org, not seen much comment on silver cars though, probably haven't been looking hard enough.
