Another Elise(S2) Tyre question

Having viewed several posts concerning 'what tyres' for an S2 Elise I am still somewhat undecided on what to go for.
In my case I am not using the car for track days and am therefore looking for a tyre that gives good performance ( in both the dry and wet ) at a fairly reasonable price.
I do not really do a lot of miles so while tyre wear is something to consider it is not necessarily of paramount importance.
I see a lot of people recommend the somewhat pricey Yoko ADO8's ( I believe the latest version is the ADO8R), although this maybe because they are suited for track use also.
As an alternative I have seen the Toyo TR1's at a more reasonable price.
However looking at the EU tyre labelling this gives a pretty poor rating regarding wet weather performance which somewhat puts me off.
With this in mind any feedback concerning a good choice for road only use would be appreciated as is any comparisons between the ADO8's and TR1's.
This does not rule out and other alternatives however so any help or advice on tyre choice and stockists that can supply them at a good price would be helpful.
